You can upload files containing an electronic three dimensional representatation
of a diamond to RapNet. A 3D file can be created with a special machine that measures
the diamond with a laser. There are Sarin and Ogi machines available on the market.
You upload files from a single diamond listing, or bulk upload
files through the website or TradeLink.
Bulk uploaded files are automatically matched to diamond listings according to the
file name. The file name should be either the certificate number, the stock number,
or the name specified in the "3DFile" column in the upload file.
TradeLink uploads all files from a specified folder.
Bulk upload can accept zip files up to 100 MB, but we recommend
splitting files up into smaller files up to 25 MB. A confirmation screen will show
which scans were matched to which diamond listings.
You can delete uploaded 3D files through the website.
File specifications:
File size should be around 25-50 Kb.
Sarin (SRN), Ogi (OGI) and Gem (GEM) formats are accepted
